“I wrote 'We Messed It Up' during a tough time when it felt like I had really messed up my life. But then God used my younger brother’s story to show me how He works. He and his wife had their first daughter when they were really young, and while everyone else was saying it wouldn’t work out, they stood firm in their faith and gave it their all. It turns out that God can take what we think is our biggest failure and turn it into something amazing. Looking back at that difficult time, I see how far I've come—I now have a family and a daughter of my own. God has truly brought me a long way.”
